What is the default calendar used in Project Plan 365?

The default calendar used in the project is the US standard calendar. This calendar reflects a traditional work schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 12 PM, with an hour off for break, and then from 1 PM to 5 PM. Saturday and Sunday are non-working days.

If you are using Microsoft Project with a language pack and you create an mpp file, this may impact the calendar used in the project, according to the language pack that you applied. The options concerning the calendar refer to working hours of the standard calendar and working days of the standard calendar. Additionally, changing on your PC from Control Panel regional settings such as the format, may affect how your dates are displayed and the default currency that is used in the project.

In case you want to use Microsoft Office in other language than English and you installed a language accessory pack, when creating and saving an mpp file with Microsoft Project certain changes regarding the calendar used in the project might take place.
