Lesson 10: Standard Reports
Reports are a series of built-in layouts that can be viewed, printed and exported in various formats. To view a report, go to Report menu and select accordingly.
Overview reports show information over the entire project duration, including summary tasks, critical tasks, project milestones, cost and schedule information, and so on.
To view Project Summary report, go to Report menu and select Overview category, then click the Project Summary button to view in the preview window.
Project Summary - summarizes the most significant project information, including numbers of tasks and resources, task and schedule status, costs, start and finish dates, and so on.
Shows project milestones. Include summary tasks and task notes.
To view Milestone report, go to Report menu and select Overview category, then click the Milestones button to view in the preview window.

1. Use the Commercial Construction project plan created during Lab 8 - Entering Progress. In Gantt Chart view, apply Milestones report from the Overview category. To apply a report go to Report menu and from there select the desired report category, and then choose from the available reports. You should see the following:
2. In the previous displayed Print Preview dialog press the Export button and select PDF as format. Choose the location on disk where the exported PDF file to be saved. Locate and open the report in PDF format.
