The Network Diagram view can use any of the task filters to display only the tasks you want to see. When you select a filter, the Network Diagram view displays the information as defined by that filter's criteria. The default filter is the All Tasks filter.
Where can I see the standard rate for my resource?

Information regarding resource's rates, including the standard rate, overtime rate, any per-use cost, and the date when the pay rate takes effect  can be found by clicking the desired resource - Resource menu tab - Resource Information - Cost.​

Date range is used to set the Start and Finish dates of the project. You can find the “Date range” option in the “Format” menu right after you set the Timeline view.
How can I copy the Timeline?

You can copy the Timeline into other documents like Word document, E-mail or PowerPoint presentation by right clicking in the Timeline area to select it and then press “Copy”. Then go and open the document in which you want to copy the Timeline, right click on the blank page and press “Paste”.
Can the tasks from the Timeline be customized?

In the app, tasks from the Timeline can be customized by selecting the “Text styles”, “Font” functionalities from the “Format” menu.
Can I change the Timescale for the Timeline view?

Under Options, schedule, our project start time has been set to 7am start, 9 hr days, 45 hours per week. When populating Gantt chart there is a unfixable error with the start and finish times.

You need to change the working time for calendars. So, please go to menu Project - Change working time and for the default calendar set the working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Also, please make sure the time of the Start Date for you project is set to 7:00 AM. To check this, go to Project - Project Information and see what is the time you set for Start Date.
Do calendars affect each other?

Calendars override each other's settings in the following ways. When you create a task, the project calendar schedules the task. When you add a resource to a task, the resource calendar controls the scheduling of the task.​

Base calendars are the foundations for the other types of calendars. You can choose a base calendar to be the project calendar or to apply a base calendar to tasks as task calendars. Base calendars come in 3 forms : Standard, 24-Hours calendar, Night Shift calendar.

Project calendars set the standard working and non-working times for the project as a whole. If resource calendars or task calendars are not used, tasks are scheduled during the working time on the project calendar by default.

To add a holiday to the Project Calendar click on Project - Change Working Time. In the For calendar list, click the calendar you want to change. For holidays, use the current project calendar. It has the words (Project Calendar) after its name. For vacation days, use the person's resource calendar. It has the same name as that person. On the Exceptions tab, add a name, start date, and finish date for each holiday or vacation day. Project reschedules tasks around the new nonworking time.​

How can I add a base calendar to a resource?

After creating a base calendar for a specialized schedule (other than the Standard project calendar) you can base a resource's working times on this calendar. In the View menu click Resource Sheet. In the Resource Name select the desired resource. In the Base calendar column select the calendar you want to be assigned for the specific resource.

To assign a calendar to a task, in the View menu click Gantt Chart. In the Task Name field select the desired task. Open Task Information dialog, on Advanced tab select Base Calendar or insert the Task calendar column in the view and select the desired calendar to the task.

To create a customized calendar click on Project - Change Working Time - Create New Calendar. Type the desired name for your new calendar and make sure you checked "Make a copy of standard" option. Change the working days as desired and click OK.
