In order to set the Paper Size to A3, go to the File menu - Print - Page Setup and from "Page" tab, "Paper Size" field, select A3 and press "OK" in order for changes to take effect.

If you want the notes to appear in the Gantt Chart, please go to the Format menu - Bar Styles option, select the Text Tab. Then, from Right - select the column "Notes". Press "OK" and your Notes will be displayed in the Gantt Chart.
How do I add a costs for a task?

To enter the costs for a task you can either insert a value in the Cost field or you can assign specific resources to your tasks and the cost is automatically calculated.

In order to change the Standard Rate being shown per day, instead of per hour, in Std. Rate cell for the desired resource, type the "day" time unit instead of "hr". For example: $0.00/day.

View tasks graphically while still having access to detailed information about the tasks.
 
View tasks as rolled-up bars or milestones on their respective summary task bars, enabling you to see your whole project without losing sight of the tasks.

See how tasks progress across time and evaluate the slack and slippage between tasks. You can track progress by comparing planned and actual start and finish dates, and by checking the completion percentage of each task.
