How can I print in A0 format on Windows?

In order to print in A0 format on Windows, please follow these steps:
1. Download and install the free CutePDF Writer software from this link: http://www.cutepdf.com/download/CuteWriter.exe
2. Open Project Plan 365 app.
3. Go to File - Print - Page Setup
4. Select Options and on Printer field select CutePDF Writer, then press OK.
5. On paper size select ISO A0.

Before printing your project we advise you to:
1. Pick the view you want.
2. Format the view.
3. Change the view so it shows only the data you want to share. For example: Hide subtasks to show only top-level tasks. Sort tasks or dates to highlight specific info. Hide columns temporarily so they don't appear in the printout.
4. Use the Print option to print the active view of the current project.
5. Your selected printer is shown at the top of the Print dialog box.
6. Using the Page Setup option you can choose how much of the project to print.
7. You can print the whole thing or pick date and page ranges.
8. Set other printing options, like the number of copies, page orientation and paper size, then press OK.​

​You can print a set of selected rows by following the steps:
1. Go to menu tab Project and select Filter button
2. Then select filter by Task Range
3. It will appear a dialog. In the first textbox put 5 and in the second one 25. Press ok.

OR

1. Go to menu tab Project and select AutoFilter button
5. In task name column, create a filter to show only tasks from 5 to 25.
6. Then in Print Preview dialog you will see only tasks from 5 to 25 and you can print them.

What does the "Print Preview" functionality do?

The “Print Preview” functionality displays the active view as it will look when printed. The pages to be printed display the information according to settings selected using Page Setup option, such as: hidden columns, added columns, resized columns, resized panels etc.

If you try to print your project and get the error:"Not enough memory to print" you might be using a paper size which is too small and too many pages are generated for print because of the size of the project.

Can I setup printing to not print all columns?

To not print all columns go to File - Print - Page Setup - View and make sure that ”Print all sheet columns” is cleared out . This option is available only for views with a timescale.
Where can I find the “Scaling” option?

To find the “Scaling” option you have to go to the “File” menu and choose the Print option. Click the “Page setup” option and a dialog will open and you will see that there is the Scaling option which includes the “Adjust to” and “Fit to” commands.

Our print implementation uses WMI service in order to allow timescale customization from within print dialog. In this case WMI is not accessible (service not enabled or access not permitted) or one of the printers is not properly supported via WMI.

If you don’t have A0 or A1 you can create a new one (got to Print dialog and click on paper size combobox and ‘Manage Custom Sizes’) – it will be then saved.
