To modify the constraint date for a task in grid click on the Format menu – Insert column – from Field name select Constraint Date – press OK. Click on a cell and from the date picker drop-down, select the desired Constraint Date.

Flexible constraints do not have specific dates associated with them. Setting these constraints allows you to start tasks as early as possible or as late as possible, with the task ending before the project finish, given other constraints and task dependencies in the schedule.

After you created your project, please set a Baseline. After this, if there are changes applied to costs, please update the Cost column. The Cost field will be the Actual Cost and the Baseline Cost will be the Planned Cost.
What should I do when a task takes more than one period of time, for example at the beginning and at the end of a project time?

In order to record these delays, you need to set a baseline for your project after you finished your plan. After this, if you have a delay, you can change the Start/Finish Date for your tasks and see how it may affect your schedule.
How can I mark a critical task?

You cannot mark a task as a critical task. A task is critical based on the calculation made in the project. A critical task needs to have the total slack 0.
What does SNLT mean?

SNLT comes from Start No Later Than and is a semi-flexible constraint type. SNLT schedules the task to start on or before a specified date. Use this constraint to ensure that a task does not start after a specified date.
How do I change the constraint to a task?

To see what constraint a task has select the given task and click on Task - Task Information - Advanced. Constraint information is in the Constraint type and Constraint date boxes. 

Does the Subproject’s Wbs reflect the WBS numbering flow in the master or does the Subproject retain its Wbs numbering?

The subproject will retain the WBS numbering. Only the Summary Subproject Task will have a calculated WBS based on his position in Master Project.
Can I upload a subproject from the local device?

At this point, you can upload a subproject from the local device only on Project Plan 365 for Windows, Mac and iOS. In order to upload a file from the local device, go to menu Project - Subproject - Computer.

How do I roll up to a total project % complete?

To change the %complete for the entire project, please insert the Summary Project in your plan by going to menu File-Options-Advanced tab and check Show Project Summary Task. Then, in the Gantt Chart view, change the percent complete for the project summary task.
How do I change all the constraint types to as soon as possible?

How do I create a master project file?

To create a master project with subprojects first you need to make sure that you purchased the Business Subscription from our website.
Go to menu Project - Subproject -  Drive 365 or Computer. Select the desired mpp file and click Open.

Does the question mark in the Duration box have any meaning?

The default duration for new tasks has a question mark (1d?). The question mark indicates that the duration is an estimate. Add a question mark to any duration estimate. Remove the question mark to indicate a committed duration.

To record the progress of the work made on tasks you need to modify the Percent Complete field for tasks. You can change the %complete from Gantt Chart by adding the %complete field or you can insert the %complete in Task Information dialog.
