In order to remove a filter, apply the "All Tasks" filter. The "All Tasks" filter is the default filter and allows seeing all tasks, regardless of their particularities.

In order to print the current view, make sure the desired view is selected, then go to the File menu - Print and select the Print option.
How do I increase the size of the toolbar?

You can't increase/decrease the size of the ribbon but if you want to hide it, you can use the "Minimize the Ribbon" option. In order to do that, click on the down arrow button in the top of the ribbon and then click on the "Minimize the Ribbon" option.
What does the little calendar icon stand for in the Indicators column?

Because you manually changed the Finish Date / Start Date that icon specifies that you have a constraint applied on that specific task. To remove the icon, go to Task Information dialog and in Advanced tab set the constraint type to As Soon As possible.
How do you change the font in the top header copy, i.e., Task Name, Duration, etc.?

To change the font of the headers for each column, please go to menu Format -Text Styles. Select “Row Column Titles” option the make the desired changes.
There isn’t a “save button” when you are working in a file.  You have to go into Save, correct? If so, is it auto saving so you don’t lose anything just in case a system crash?

You need to manually Save the file. We recommend to save your file every 15 minutes by going to menu File-Save. The Auto Save feature will not overwrite your file, in case of a crash you can recover your file by going to menu File-Open-Open Unsaved Project.
How to insert the resource initials field?

In order to insert the Resource Initials column, go to the Format menu - Insert Column. From "Field Name" select Resource Initials and then press "OK" in "Column Definition" dialog.

What are external tasks?

Answer
Tasks from different subprojects can be linked together, forming a predecessor/successor dependency. When you open one of the subprojects in application, all of the predecessor tasks from other subprojects will be shown next to the local tasks in the project being opened. They appear with different bar/box style and font in the different task views, e.g. in grey color, so they can be visually distinguished from the local tasks. These tasks are called External tasks.

  1. In the actual cost calculation, we will be using for resource assignment: CostPerUseOnUnits which is CostPerUse*Units if the resource type is “work” and CostPerUse if the resource type is “material”. StandardRateWithWork = StandardRate * Work
  2. Actual Cost for a task will be: ActualCost = CostPerUseOnUnits of each resource assignment + StandardRateWithWork * PercentComplete of each resource assignment + ActualCost for resource assignments with cost resource + FixedCost * PercentComplete

The remaining cost is calculated by Project Plan 365 for an Assignment, a Resource or a Task by simply subtracting Actual Cost from Cost: RemainingCost = Cost – ActualCost

    1. if the task has assigned only cost resources, ActualCost = Cost * PercentComplete
    2. if the task doesn't have assigned only cost resource, ActualCost = 0
